URL : www.msrh.org Posted : 2/5/2012 Comments : MSRH.org rescued Jiggs from HCAC who was surrendered by his family after 3 years. He was horribly matted and covered in fleas. After some comfortis and a nice bath, emerged a beautiful, loving schnoodle. The next day he started getting sick, and after 3 different vet visits to help him, his symptoms kept progressing until even I could tell it was distemper. Dr. Huddleston was his only hope and tried to save this sweet boy. Unfortunately it was too late and he crossed the rainbow bridge on Saturday. The doctor and his staff were so compassionate and wonderful. I could tell they really cared about him. I would recommend WAC to anyone looking for a competent, caring vet. All of the staff I met were equally caring and wonderful to deal with. You and the whole team at the WAC Bellaire, make miracles come true... Our girl is your little heroe, and you are that heroe that is behind us. Doc and all of his staff ( Jason, Stephanie, and Lee) really care about the animals they see each day and understand they are family members. WAC is a special place- I am grateful for the care they have extended my pets and therefore, me. I have brought all my dogs there since they were puppies and they always get plenty of love and attention (even when they don't deserve it!) from everyone there. One of my labs recently had surgery and Dr. Huddleston let me watch and comfort my baby girl which made me feel so much better about the whole thing. I would never take my dogs anywhere else.
