Westheimer Animal Clinic ~ Bellaire

1946 Westheimer Animal Clinic first opened its doors in November of 1946 at 3631 Westheimer, Houston Texas.  Westheimer was still a dirt road back then and the clinic catered primarily to the treatment of large animals. The first owner and resident veterinarian was E. P. Stallings and he ran the clinic until 1960. 

1960 Michael Huddleston, DVM purchased the clinic form Stallings in 1960.  Like Stallings, Huddleston started out working with local farm and ranch animals. But by this time the area around the clinic was changing as farms and ranches gave way to new housing and shopping centers.  Thus, gradually the clinic's focus switched to the health and care of house pets.

2004 The clinic is currently located just outside of Loop 610 in Bellaire, Texas and is a full service veterinarian clinic.  Services range from teeth cleaning, to micro-chip implants, to all types surgery.   This clinic is networked with a number of specialists and works closely with the Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialist and Texas A&M. Using ultrasound capabilities, sending radiographs and pictures over the internet, and practicing hi-tech medicine the clinic is one of the most modern up-to-date clinics in the area.

2006 Our brand new 5000 Sq. Ft. Boarding and Grooming facility is now open.
